Unfortunately, he can't leave if he's doing a song with LL Cool J... and yes I agree it feels cringeworthy. He did Houdini where there is a slight diss on Meg Thee Stallion and she did her song HISS where she disses him by mentioning how Mariah Carey has men "Obsessed." That is the song that made him diss her with that verse about her feet.  I wonder if he will win at least one award from those eight nominations! Good catch! I didn't notice that line in her song.  |

Choreography and Houdini hit the target, Somebody save me is totally unnecessary, ruined the impression of performance itself. THAT song is not catchy, doesn't impress, doesn't touch or hit. He looked good on stage. I am very happy for him about well-deserved awards. T.S., awful outfit!

I like Taylor Swift but it is getting annoying that she wins all the time.
I now understand when people would get made when Em would win all the time. Except he deserves it. Taylor is good, but overrated. Of course, I could be bias. 😁
And when is he going to get the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award? Katy Perry? Really? I think the only hip hop artist to win are women. I think Nicki Minaj won a couple of years ago and Missy Elliott. Seems politically correct so Em will probably never win it.

A lot of times with those awards they are sponsored by the estates who also have a say. I'm not sure if it is the case with this award though. But if it is I doubt his estate would sign off on Eminem getting that award under Michael's name. But personally the VMAs are a lame award to me at this point. I watche dthe show and it really is a tacky parade at this point. I'm surprised they allowed Michael Jackson's name to be used, likely because he had some of the most innovative and grounbreaking videos in his era. I feel like they pay big artists to attend. I'm surprised Taylor Swift was evn there, she has missed the Grammys in the past. But I know the super young people love the show. |

Oh and do they not give out the awards during the show anymore? Didn’t watch it as it started 3am for me, but I haven’t seen any clips of celebs accepting awards… 🤔
ETA: ok, so other celebs made speeches when they won, it was just Em who didn’t lmao! Surprise surprise 😂 guess he had to be in detroit by 11 for bedtime
