I wonder if people avoid him in fear they might say the wrong thing and end up on the wrong side of a Slim Shady lyric.  But I find it is interesting that no-one else was congregated with them. We know Paul and Tracy were there from pictures. I wonder if Em is one of the friends that someone has to be with him at all times and they come back one-by-one to relieve the person hanging with (babysitting) him.  You might be right. I wonder do people just not approach or does His team keep people away from him. I personally think it depends on the type of people who are around. Like, I imagine every hip hopper and their mom wants to pull him aside and get a feature with him. In those cases I think his team is his buffer, but like I don't think people like Leonardo are running in circles trying to hang out with Eminem. Leo tries to be private too so I think he gets it. I feel like Fredwreck is the weirdo running around trying to get pictures with celebs, which they really do hate. I remember when I was a relatively new reporter and I got opportunities to interview celebs, some reporters would actually ask to take pictures with them, but a PR rep once told me they have to do it so much with fans that they don't really like if reporters ask them to "be on" as well. The rule was, don't ask, wait until they offer. You can tell the ones who like it because some will straight up ask, "want to take a picture with me" then you say yes. So I can imagine they definitely don't want to deal with Stans who are industry people. They just want to hang out and enjoy themselves just like everybody else. |
