The CD was released on Friday, so the numbers this week would include CDs, digital sales, and streaming. The vinyl version is released October 25th. I'm not sure when the cassettes are shipped.

That's nuts. I saw a video of Dina Rae explaining how much she makes off Superman, which has billions of streams, and it was peanuts. Wild.

The money really does come from the touring, endorsements and album sales, which I read recently that you basically ahve to go platinum before the money from the album sales start to roll in. It really is an interesting (shady) business model for the artist. Streaming has now taken it to another level. But luckily the influencer avenue has opened it up for new young talent so they don't feel they ahve to sign with a label to get publicity and get noticed.
