The person/people who induct the inductee are people who were inspired by that person/artist. 50 cent wasn't inspired by Em to rap lets be real lol.. 50 had his own reasons for starting. It will be interesting to see who inducts him based off of who he "inspired" lol In his own words from "Fall": "I inspired the Hopsins, the Logics, the Coles, the Seans, the K-Dots, the 5'9"s, and oh, I brought the world 50 Cent..."  |

Em showed up for Dre, Run DMC and LL at the RRHoF so I do think he will be there in person. I don’t know why, but I think this might be the kind of award show he might actually care about. I mean I guess mostly his peers will be there, and this isn’t a “meaningless” award MTV has rigged.
And we don’t know who will induct him but maybe he’ll get to perform with Dre and LL?

I'd love to see Jimmy Iovine induct EM as he's the one who's responsible for EMs success and made the intro to Dr. Dre and Aftermath. And then I'd like to see EM turn around and induct Jimmy. What a twofer that would be! Have a sneaky suspicion that Dre may induct Jimmy what with their joint billionaire status thanks to Beats.

I thought people can make requests who they want to induct them, but you are probably right because I always thought t was weird he inducted Run DMC, but I was assuming it was their choice. That makes more sense. But you were right, if he doesn't want to perform, I don't see him getting a table and sitting in the audience through the entire event (because it would look rude just to be in the audience for your part). But Jimmy Iovine is getting inducted as well, so maybe it will eb a family affair. I hope he goes, but I won't be shocked if he doesn't attend but performs via satellite. Oh god no, no remote performances, he better not go at all xD He can go and not perform like Jay Z just in the audience. Totally!! Remote performing is too damn close to the metaverse for comfort. Get your covid booster and perform live if you're gonna perform, Em! |
