I’m not gonna lie her saying someone told her she looked like ‘Em and her ten min discussion about dying her hair brunette wasn’t that thrilling and it was 30 mins? After a weeks break?
She mentioned she was thinking about doing makeup as a YouTube channel prior and tbh I think she should go that route. She honestly is really good at it and has great style. Her and friend could have a lot of fun with it and they would get a lot of endorsements. They could do Alaina’s practice wedding make up! Or do fun discussions while applying make up. I think she needs something to physically do to spice it up
but it also could be that she’s just going super slow and testing the waters. I’m sure this process is nerve wracking but podcasts aren’t for the faint of heart and can either be really boring or way too controversial quick. You got to find that sweet spot and right now it’s kind of boring. Her friend barely even says anything
I do like that she turned out to be a responsible and level head woman though. Just got to put a little more effort into your topics or try actually doing something like make up hacks and stuff. She talented and has a good dry sense of humor but yeah your brunette hair journey isn’t that thrilling. Idk who her target audience is but I’m guessing it’s ppl her age and even then I’m kind of like don’t 27 year olds listen to like Call Me Daddy? Spice it up girl

Want to add the girl she’s talking about actually made a tiktok the night she ran into Hailie and said how embarrassed she was cause Hailie and her friends laughed in her face after she said how she looks like Em. I get where Hailies coming from cause I can imagine how annoying things like that can be but your click just laughing in this girls face who’s clearly a fan of her dad and even her gives me "Mean Girls" vibes. I did not know that. The way Hailie told it, it sounded like the girl startled her. I guess there's two sides to every story. Maybe Hailie saw her TikTok and thought, "uh oh, maybe I should say something least everyone think I'm a mean girl bitch". Do you have a link to the tik tok?

At this point I hope the girl didn’t delete it. She did the tiktok where she was like put down a finger if and she talked about how it went down. Her boyfriend saw Hailie (now that we have Hailie’s side he saw her coming from the bathroom) so he tells her isn’t that the girl you like and she’s like omg it’s Eminem’s daughter cause she’s a fan of both. So they walk by and she tells Hailie she looks like her dad and Hailie looked at her like WTF then her group starts laughing .

tcat the fast speed format made the show more tolerable. I never realized how much it’s dragging because of them talking slow (there are lots of fillers) and hardly holding a conversation. Speeding it up made the show seem more like a convo they were interested in.
matty she should go ahead and do makeup/fashion/home as her main category and podcast as like her side thing. It’s obvious that’s her real passion to do makeup on YouTube. I’f she’s not comfortable yet all she has to do is just film herself put her stuff on make a voiceover. This is more like a test the waters in YouTube world until i figure out where I really want to go.
This podcast won’t last much longer if this is what they come up with every week even after being off for the holiday weekend.

I hope that is not how that went down because that would not be a good look for Hailie or her friends. Like why would that even be funny. Just say thanks and keep it moving. This is not brain surgery. But we have to keep in mind, Hailie had a different upbringing, experiences and influences than her parents. They are not her only influence. She has been in a sorority and I'm not putting that down because I was in one as well, but unfortunately those organizations sometimes have a lot of mean girls and if you don't have a strong personality and tend to be a follower, you can easily get caught up in that behavior. Let's hope that is not Haile though. Alaina was in a sorority as well and she just seems so much more approachable and engaging to me. I remember reading a post where she said she had low confidence because of her weight and I didn't get that either because she is beautiful. In my opinion, physical beauty has nothing to do with weight. I've seen plenty of ugly skinny people! I actually read a book it was called something like the Science of Beauty and it explained how we see beauty based on societal norms versus what the eye naturally sees as aesthetically pleasing and it really had nothing to do with weight. It mentioned things like the distance between the eyes, the shape of the lips, the face shape, location of the ears (yes a few centimeters one way or the other makes a difference to the human eye). It was intriguing and made me look at people differently. Not whether they were attractive or not, but be intrigued by the proportions of their face. Another big factor is the smile, which I think is a no brainer. Who isn't a sucker for a beautiful smile.

That’s interesting about the TikTok… Can see where would be startled/awkward but I’m also not shocked possible hidden mean girl either. I’m giving up on the podcast after this one. I do think it’s great she’s trying on her own Etc., but I personally just can’t relate. Maybe i’m just too old/old souled, but feel like she’s a young young 26. Going out was/is still important at that age, but that’s also the age where life slowly starts shifting to work/life/fun balance Etc., and never talk of that type of stuff. Also, I thought not mentioning her dad at VMA or why at the super bowl was awkward. Of course we all know why at super bowl so why don’t say it?

She mentioned never watching football but started to watch when they found out going to the super bowl, and now she watches because Lions were on Hard Knocks. Just thought odd both things her dad did but left that part out. Not that she has to promo him lol just felt maybe worded to avoid?

The fan encounter told from both sides is interesting.
I don't think Hailie is necessarily a mean girl. It sounds like the whole situation was awkward for everyone and no one knew how to react. I get that it must be weird for Hailie to have a random person come up to her and tell her she looks like Em. Maybe no one knew what to do so they laughed nervously and didn't mean anything by it.
But if I had to pick a side I would pick the fan's. All Hailie had to do was say "thank you". Laughing and all her friends laughing...they may not have meant it that way but it comes across as a bully move. Hailie is a grown woman, she should know better at this point. If she wants to be on TikTok/IG and have a podcast and be popular enough to attract fans and be recognized, she best be nice to those fans bc she will get a bitchy rep real quick.

It seems as if she wants the benefits, perks, money, etc. that comes with being his daughter but doesn't want to associate with his fans??? The fans are the ones supporting all her endeavors.. It's really strange. She is showing her true colors, and not in a good way. Especially within the second episode she was already asking for brand deals... She barely has put in effort yet expects so much. I think what matty said above is true. She really had everything handed to her thanks to her dad and his fans. She always had privileges which isn't necessarily a bad thing to utilize but from winning homecoming queen when she said she was shy with any barely friends, gaining millions of followers on insta just by association, doesn't need a job etc. She just hasn't ever had to be in a position to really hustle for anything or put in much effort. I get the laid back vibe on the podcast but it just seems too non-chalant from purposely dressing down wearing lounge clothes to the talking about tiktok for 30 mins straight.. I'm sure she is a nice girl but she should of just stayed on instagram and collected her sponsor money here and there tbh.

Regarding that fan encounter, why do people have to be so weird lol. If you're going up to someone yelling "you look just like your dad", it's so awkward, what kind of reaction do you expect?

I mean she actually has a job and seems to be supporting herself. She even posted as much once on her Instagram stories. I know she is older than Hailie, but only by 2-3 years. I know Marshall and Kim said he treats the girls exactly the same, so that would mean that Alaina chose to support herself versus Hailie potentially being supporting mostly by her dad? I'm not criticizing either one of them. It is a question I am asking not something I am saying is the case. You have to do what works best for you.
