Hailie reminds me of my husband... like, when he's focused and interested in something - he gets it done and his work ethic isn't questionable. But when he's not all that interested, not motivated, his work ethic is 0 and he just doesn't care. Hailie obtained a college degree and you can't really do that without putting in consistent work, showing up to classes, finishing projects... and so on. She doesn't care about podcast. You can kinda see that, especially during the last episodes. That's why I doubt she'll continue. I bet she won't even finish this season. And I agree with you: her content is juvenile. The topics just don't match an almost 30 year old MARRIED woman. She does come off as immature but again, I'm not holding that against her. Emma Chamberlain is younger than her and she comes off much more mature, for example. I see what you mean with the college but I also think by how much her dad cares (has implied he cares at least ) about school she knew that she needed to put effort into it so she did which was good. Yeah she is coming off (to me from recent weeks) like she doesn't care for it - she's married and I bet goals changed.. It's fine, just stop doing it then LOL. She doesn't have sponsors nagging her for episodes to drop and that was what kinda confirmed something else to me - if she has no sponsors, big orgs aren't following her podcast and see value in investing in it, if they had she would have had to recorded episodes before now... she would not have been able to put it off I'm not familiar with Emma Chamberlain.

But i feel like all of the kids have that same trait and not just her. Even Alaina went to college, Believe mentioned she at least started cosmotognology school, was a receptionist, and now does skin care. They had the luxury of being able to play around until they found out what worked for them. She even said herself in one of her earlier podcasts that they were able to quit things (like sports, etc.), and sometimes she wishes parents forced her to finish something.

Yeah, that's the same mistake my parents did with me. They give you too much & you end up not doing anything. I understand Alaina completely. And it seems like it was super important to Eminem & Kim that they finish school.

You should check Emma out! She's very young... a couple of years younger than Hailie but more mature. She also has a podcast named "anything goes" and discusses more serious topics than Hailie. Hailie was just very sheltered and it shows. And I agree she doesn't care about podcast/doesn't work on it. I'm pretty sure she won't end this season od podcast, especially if she maybe gets pregnant.

On Hailie being a nepo baby... that's a huge stretch, IMO. She has a podcast and her father is a rapper - sure, it's the same industry... but it's a HUGE industry and she didn't really The part about drinking in the middle of the week just isn't true, especially for young people. That's how it is around me, maybe it's different for you and your people. And I really cannot compare influencers to athletes - money isn't the issue here - but what influencers do just isn't comparable to what athletes do. We can agree to disagree on Hailie being a nepo baby. The people I know and affiliate with aren't drinking in the middle of the day — and we are millennials. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. That is your opinion. But a lot of people don't realize the work and strategy that goes into being a successful influencer. It's not about comparing what inlfuencers do vs what athletes do, it's about you saying it is not a career and in fact it is. The definition of a career: An occupation undertaken for a significant period of a person's life and with opportunities for progress. Influencers come in all fields. A doctor can be an influencer, an athlete cna be an influencer, a journalist can be an influencer. Most have a background and they turn it into an influencer career. Like Blair Eadie was the Creative Diretcor for Tory Burch and became a fashion influencer, because the money and opportunities for growth as an entrepreneur were better. An influencer is basically an entrepreneur, but not everyone is about that life nor do they understand it. Like I said, some peope are more content with what they know, 9-5, 40-hour work week. I agree completely with you, she didn’t have to put in any work to become an influencer, I remember she made an instagram and instantly got 2 million followers. And we all know how she got those followers… When she said she had to go to college, do you think it was like a term of her receiving her trust fund or similar? I know I’d do the same if I had enough money to make sure my kids get a decent education!

I know I’d do the same if I had enough money to make sure my kids get a decent education! Hailie said in her podcast that she is a people pleaser and Alaina made a big deal about being the first perosn in her family t get a college degree, so I believe that both of them went to college more out of expectations laid out by their parents than a natural yearning to have a formal education. That si okay too. A lot fo peopel go to school for those reasons and if they ahve parents who have the money to throw at an education they may not use, then oh well. Alaina is kind of using her eductaion in marketing communications, and Hailei could use hers as an influencer on how to read Em's fans and gain her own following, but doesn't look like she grasped much of that from her studies. But at the end of the day, as long as Eminem is making money, I don't think they ahve much to worry about.

I feel like Alaina doing a podcast about skincare would be a complete hit - she seems much more approachable and engaging with her followers.

Education was primarily the wish of the parents (understandably), and it was instilled in them from a young age. Time will tell whether they have chosen a good course, how successfully they will able to use and apply their acquired knowledge in a business sense or generally speaking in life time. But if there wasn't encouragement from a young age, there would be no college degree either! Both are talkative, but Hailie has much better diction, it's not just putting the microphone in front of you and let's talk! Alaina is all drooling, she speaks as if she has a physical disability, her tongue is falling out of her mouth, it's hard to listen to her, and even harder to watch, maybe for the radio, but there you have to be very precise, clear, constructive in your statements. Both seem cheerfully, unburdened (Alaina especially and sometimes sad, mean A., also), Hailie sometimes looks full of inner rage, but it's fleeting, so it doesn't mark her so much. They don't seem to have any depth. Even as a private person, you can work in the media, you just need to know how to deal with topics in a certain way, for impressive effect, so to speak. They both love what they do and have the most important possibility, which is money, such a possibility is good b.c., it is assumed that at the age of eighteen you are not yet a mature enough person to know what you want to study, so they can stop it at any moment and start something completely different, Hailie totally, Alaina and Steve will have to think carefully. I haven't watched all the episodes, only a couple ( uninteresting, shallow, but modern topics ), nothing that others don't cover, maybe now it will be a slightly different concept. In essence, she fits in with the majority ( mean colleague by work ), but something unusual or special is expected from her because of her last name.

Isn’t the first episode supposed to come out today? A bit surprising she hasn’t made any teasers or even reminders, but I guess we’ve had that discussion here already 😂 I guess I still expected something, yesterday or even today 🤔

I clicked through the YouTube of the episode today…. I’ll let everyone have the opinion before I give mine… I am so hard-headed. I know the saying about if you don't ahve anything good to say, then don't say anything, BUT...I watched the podcast curious about the wedding like others. I actually wanted t know about ehr wedding dress most. Well, shocker. NO wedding content, but she claims she will eventually share details on the podcast but she wants to take her time and do it right. She is not obligated to share her wedding, so no big deal. But now it is clear why she asked what peopel want to ehar because she literally di NO planning. So, he are some notes:
- She has content on Patreon about this year's Lollapalooza.
- She is dropping new merch and if you sign up for Patreon, you'll be the first to get access. One theme is about gossip, which she said that is what her podcast is about.
- She discussed the Australian break dancer and called her the most famous breakdancer in the world, but said that does not mean she is the best breakdancer. Very interesting considering people have said something similar about ehr dad. She probably shouldn't go there, but I digress
- Then she chimed in on the Blake Lively controversy and said she foresees Taylor Swift not bringing Blake along because of the bad press. I don't even know if she wants to tread on those waters with Taylors bestie. Those Swifties don't play.
- Then a round oof cheesy shady stories again. They were so boring I can't even recall but one, were a girl said she dipped her step-mother's mascara in the toilet and Brit and Hailie discussed what's worse, that or a toothbrush in the toilet.
Those are pretty much the highlights of the season 3 episode "Just A Little Shady" podcast. And oh, she is back at her home instead of the studio, so I guess she permanently got rid of the studio.

It is not so important what topic they cover, but how they do it. Haven't watched all episodes, but as far as my memory serves, they sounded and acted much more mature and serious in the first season. Walk backwards. I thought B., would sound somewhat more coherent, but she sounded like silly person with that profile of hers, Hailie is also looked kind of confused. Probably an agreement that B., is not allowed to take the lead, which is understandable, nor to comment too much, but most importantly, not to counter, kind of thought that she put different herself in this season, perhaps. Like they were making up topics at the last minute, as if they didn't know what they were going to talk about until the last moment. Little boring and uninteresting. It's like they tried their hardest in the first season, but this is the beginning, maybe it will get better!

If this was a formal board and those were meeting notes I'd say "I second" so we could approve them and move on. LOL Good point about the Blake topic... I've seen Swifties swarm and they are very protective - and get things done
