So, the podcast had its season finale on Friday, and if you were signe dup for their Patreon, you got early access. I was looking back and noticed the first year they had 42 episodes, but this past year it was cut down by more than half to 19 episodes. Did anyone watch this season or at least the last episode, if so, what are your thoughts? Do you feel like season two was better than the first season or did you prefer the first season, or maybe you thought they were on par with each other. What are your thoughts? I wonder if in the new year Hailie might incorporate her new IG page on home decor into the podcast. I’m late to this, lol, but so much happened last year I didn’t really have time to listen, so been trying to catch up now. I think season 2 has been more chill or relaxed, or like they’re more comfortable and maybe “letting their guard down” more in their stories. And I don’t know if it’s just me, but the way Hailie talks - expressions she’s using, how she sometimes says something a bit more quietly and then goes back to normal voice, the way she’s telling stories - she reminds me of Em so much! Like his more relaxed, chilled interviews where he’s letting his guard down a bit

Looks like hailie threw a draft party at this new residents tower in Detroit. https://www.instagram.com/p/C6cEc6tJjQ1 When I saw this, the first thing I thought was what a missed opportunity to promote her podcast by setting up a booth at the city draft party that had millions of people. Ashley shared in her stories that she set up a booth for her business there during the draft and had so much traffic she ran out fo business cards. Then I noticed Hailie commented from her new "Hailie Jade Home" Instagram page, so looks like she is officially pivoting to focus on that. I wonder if she is ditching the podcast.

Do you mean Ashley handed out business cards at Hailies event? If she pivots to the idea of "Hailie Jade Home" I wonder what it means with growth - partnerships pivot to home/living instead of beauty like ones? IDK, just thoughts...

I actually like the home brand better. Her style is affordable and classic. I remember when the podcast first came out a few of us said she would probably do better in this type of environment because she does like to travel, try new restaurants, places, events, so this might work for her.

No, Ashley handed out business cards at the draft party held by the city on Thursday. Hailie had this party on the following Saturday. She probably feels like she can do better as a home decor influencer because it relies less on her personality and more on her design/styling abilities. I don't believe she has been successful with the podcast in the way she anticipated. I heard through the rumor mill that she lost her Puma sponsorship because they found out that she was selling some of the merch instead of promoting and doing giveaways, like most influencers do. I mean she must need money if she was doing that because she can grow her audience by doing merch giveaways. If she didn't need the money, then she was just greedy. Supposedly that is also why her agency dropped her.

I agree, I think she can do well in the home space. It will be interesting to see if she can grow as large an audience though. Stans followed her podcast hiping she would interview her dad. This is going to requit=re pepel who actually care what she is doing and creating.

I can’t see why she would sell the stuff. I hope the home decor influencing goes well for her and that she can attract a following that aren’t there for news or gossip about her dad. This might unpopular opinion but she needs to try and stand out more with her home decor page. I think it’s better than her podcast but still a little boring😬. I think there are some ways she can do it and make herself stand out from the rest. I really hope it works out for her.

She seems to have that events-like based business (?) and being where the community can ask questions/get contact info is smart for brand building (again just my opinion). That makes sense for Hailies event to be on Saturday. Her video was during the day and the draft started that night so I was confused lol. I thought brands had strict "no sell" like policies on merch. Did she get picked up by an agency? I thought they would have for sure told her good/bad practices if this was the case

I thought they would have for sure told her good/bad practices if this was the case Yeah, you are not suppose to sell merch that you are comped by sponsors. On top of it she had paid sponsorships and typically they want you to do giveaways so that you further promote their brand. I think she only did one give away on her platform and I do not remember Pumas being in that swag box. Last I heard she had not gotten picked up by an agency. Looks like she is no longer in the studio space either and did her last podcasts back at her house. Also, agencies will drop you if you don't have a good conversion rate for sponsors or if they can't secure sponsorships for you. I never understood why she doesn't get big sponsors like beauty brands. Lil Wayne's daughter did NYX Cosmetics. She has like more than twice Hailie's followers on Instagram and YouTube because people actually like her separate from her dad. It doesn't hurt that her dad publically engages with her as well, like she makes him breakfast, meets him on tour, stuff like that. For the most part she shares her life, gives followers advice and engages with her audience. She basically has a personality. https://www.instagram.com/itsreginaecarter/p/CybOo5qOgZl

Never thought of her using a studio space. I bet those (the time using them) is not cheap. I wonder who does her editing and such before she uploads them. I wonder if there is a way to see the "metrics" of her podcast (views, subscribers etc.) I wonder how she compares stat wise to other young podcasters like you mention Lil Wayne's daughter. Update: Found this website and I'm not sure if its a good metric/stat site to use but still found the "chart" part interesting: podbay.fm/p/just-a-little-shady/charts

When I first saw this video of her setting up a party I thought she was trying to copy Ashley’s idea for her company seeing as she’s doing quite well considering people only know who she is if you really look into Em. Hailie cannot find her niche, hope the home thing goes well for her.

Hailie cannot find her niche, hope the home thing goes well for her. I didn't think of that but you're right that would make sense. If she does go the route of home decor instead of podcasting I wonder how she'll pivot with her audience...

Hailie worked hard with her podcast, but allegedly, she did not follow the concept that she was suggested in which way to run it, but she did it mostly at her own discretion, and it did not turn out to be the most watched and even less profitable. Apparently, she is not inclined to listen to suggestions or she listens to them from someone she shouldn't have…!

Since she got married this is how I picture next seasons podcast schedule to be:
episode 1: picking wedding theme episode 2: picking decor to go with theme episode 3: food selection episode 4-10: variations of ^
lol. It was too tempting.
