Idk Em looked annoyed with Royce in all of the videos and does not seem chummy with him at all and I’m glad Em didn’t bring his ass to the super bowl And nah all the guys were like “and Royce is here!!” And Em was like mmmhmm Royce too…-anyway..” and Royce was by himself in a corner. Sorry that’s not a buddy vibe. That’s third wheel vibe. Royce is trash and two faced and no one can convince me otherwise And I would be upset too if everyone else had dancers but me lol. Poor Em wasn’t even part of the conference and him making the comment about “snoop being in every commercial” during his sway interview was maybe him being like snoop does get a lot of media attention and I have a feeling snoop wanted Em to take a bit of a back seat for the show since Em sold more albums and maybe Em was feeling a little neglected from dre since snoop also did all the interviews with him and got to perform with him. So maybe Em was a little high strung and wanted some attention lol. Plus Em is a wreck before shows. Remember when he called Rihanna last min to perform at the amas or soemthing and it was her day off and he was like begging her on the phone?? I don’t think it’s so much sensitivity but anxiety and feeling left out a bit Idk I hate when ppl call Em sensitive because snoop held a grudge for 20 plus years about Em not doing a song with him but yet that was warranted? Makes no sense lol: Why wasn't Marshall at the conference. They were all invited, weren't they? I actually think Snoop Dogg could care less. I kind of think that mini beef they had was potentially orchestrated. Snoop is doing his thang. He don't care about these people. He smoking his special cigarettes and hanging with Martha, I don't think he sweating Marshall at all. I do however think Marshall was a bit envious of Snoop being with Dre so much, but I get it, I would probably feel the same. But they were in Cali, that is Snoop and Dre's stomping ground. I also notice that Marshall's dancers look like Stans in hoodies running and flocking to him. But everyone else's dancers were on a cool vibe and doing their thing. I didn't know that Marshall gets nervous before his shows, so that makes a lot of sense. But I do think it is interesting that Marshall and Kendrick were not at the press conference. I'm surprised it was not required of them. Nah their beef was very real. There was a lot of behind the scenes talk about it in the rap world. And denauns and Fredwreck were trying to stop it. If it was orchestrated they would play into it I think snoop and Em have jealously with one another. Em in the sense that Dre seems to be close to snoop in a friendship level and Em probably always feeels like the little neglected brother when they are around and has to walk on egg shells to not hurt egos and snoop is jealous because Em came out of no where and kind of took over aftermath and got a lot of label attention back in the day because Em was so successful And yeah it’s very clear Em gets nervous before shows. Man was panicking before the super bowl I think since Kendrick wasn’t there snoop or Dre or both just asked to do the three of them because of time constraints. It was clear in post and pre interviews that their focus were more Mary snoop and Dre. I think dres argument was it was their time to shine and Em doesn’t really need media attention to sell still and they knew Em was probably gonna get the biggest scream on stage (which he arguably did looking back the fan footage) and I think Em went with it out of respect but maybe was a bit on the defensive side hence him being a little irritated when sway brought up snoop in the interview. I think there’s respect there but it must get annoying always playing the back seat. And Ems point was like “snoop is in every commercial! It’s not like he doesn’t get attention!” But who knows. I just hope when Em gets inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame he finally get his chance to shine and ppl don’t try and take his hard work away from him

And his manager Paul would be okay with that? I mean everybody always arguing that Marshall is the big draw, why would Dre miss that opportunity to bring in more eyes? I don't know, you know more about what happens in Marshall's camp than I do (frankly I know nothing—just an innocent bystander), but it seems kind of a weird strategy to me to not have the one person who has the biggest draw on the press conference, especially since some were complaining the half time wasn't diverse enough.

If u look at the interviews before this it was just snoop and Dre and snoop made it clear that “Em was riding in the back while he rode shotgun” The interviews afterwards Dre barely mentioned Em and mentioned more Mary and snoop. This was a Jay z run show and it was a lot more meaning behind it with everything political going on. First time ever hip hop show and they were making a statement. And the Super Bowl doesn’t need too much advertising as it is. If they were worried about that they would have done a shit ton more than like three interviews total Kendrick even stood in the back and didn’t do one interview. He is still young and has a long career ahead. Em took a back seat because he is white and frankly I think snoop feels like he is at a higher pecking order and this was snoops time to get respect as well as Dre. Hip hop is about respect/loyalty above everything else Hip hop is a jealous world and a lot of shit politics goes on behind the scenes and a lot of egos are involved Why do u think snoop threw that shot? It’s all about ego/jealously/competitiveness They all come from shit childhoods and went through traumatic shit. The culture is just different Kendrick is the most youngest on the set and has the most youthful fan base yet this is where he stood at the end without even really waving at the crowd? Why do u think that is? It’s respect

Do you think they told him ahead of time this is how it was going to be? Because I thought that Snoop, Dre and Mary looked a bit down at the press conference, or at least low energy. Is that why he invited 50 so he wouldn't be alone? How do you think they felt about him taking a knee? I saw Dre in an interview and he was like, "That was all Eminem's idea." Do you think Marshall did that fro publicity or because he meant it?

Do you think Marshall did that fro publicity or because he meant it? I don’t think they had issue with the knee at all. Em respects Dre and if Dre said don’t he wouldn’t have or if Jay said no he wouldn’t have. It was part of the act with the piano too. I think Dre was trying to downplay the nfl getting mad/rumors because Jay is trying to fix the ties with the nfl and the hip community and the black community in general and this was the first step. But yeah I’m sure if Dre or Jay said don’t do it Em wouldn’t have done it. Em would jump off a bridge if Dre asked at the end of the day even if he was mad at him. That’s hip hop/loyalty. Which is why 50 is loyal to Em. With 50 I think Em might have done soemthing to get 50 on board, like shortening his set or asking Dre etc, Dre and 50 respect each other but their relationship is rocky. But snoop also is close with 50 too so I’m sure it wasn’t a huge deal. I do think Em was a bit neglected and Dre might have made a point that Mary came back to his house after the show and was working on shit and maybe pointing out subtly Em could have come but Em was probably to busy getting on his plane to get back to Detroit ASAP lol. But I do notice Em has a pattern of getting fiesty with Dre when he feels neglected and does things like steal his beats (aka guns blazing) or throws a bit of a public temper tantrum when Dre was busy selling headphones lol (during the beats doc he was like “wtf is this!?!? Lol”. So maybe Em was throwing a bit of a tantrum and when Dre was like “okay come to the studio after the show..” and Em was being a brat and being like NO!! Who knows with him tho

Maybe he went to 50s party with the girls.

Like I said later on he could have still been salty for being or feeling neglected and that’s why he said no and went to 50s thing instead lol I still think it’s funny how guns blazing was for dres album and Em low key stole it hahaha alphagirl01 the doc is called the defiant ones…I think u can find the whole thing on hbo. There are only clips on YouTube now

I feel like I explained myself 🤷♀️ We never agree so I don’t see why this would be any diff and not salty in the sense that he legit is mad at anyone but I can see him feeling a bit neglected especially after the whole snoop thing.

Sorry, but if there’s someone who will NEVER be a goat it’s Royce… He can be however talented lyrically as he wants (I know Em claims he is) but imo that’s not enough to be a goat…
I know that had nothing to do with the topic lol
But yeah, I think there can be more than one goat
