I really liked Ukraine's song and Israel's song. There were some other good ones but I can't remember which ones. This semifinal was definitely a lot better than the first semifinal.
I felt like one of the songs was a direct copy of Anastacia's Left outside alone (can't even remember which one), and Belgium's song was a copy of Fleur East's Sax, or Play that funky music
And what did Switzerland have for workout routine during their song, lol!

There were some good songs that didn't qualify for the finals. I'm glad Georgia did. They are a bit watered down but eh, I like that kind of music.
I don't know songs from the first semi-finals so I can't compare.

Aaaah, Cyprus!!! I had no idea they had a rock song! I knew there were two rock songs in the finals but I didn't know which was the other one (besides Georgia). Me likes Cyprus!!!!
Also, Chris Cornell/Weird Al's song wasn't bad but he wasn't energetic enough for my taste.

I liked Australia's song lol, now that you mentioned it... Totally the same vibe. And Belgium is "Another One Bites the Dust". Many people say Australia has a good chance to win (and that it's a preferred choice or else it will be all about Russia-Ukraine conflict). I think if Australia wins the UK will host the next Eurovision.

It's just the intro, not the whole song, if I remember right. I heard this rumor about UK, but it was more along the lines "it's the only way they can get to host".

Ukraine is the winner.
I thought that Australia won but this was before the audience votes.
I was hoping maybe Australia or Poland could win, particularly Australia. The whole Russia-Ukraine thing is full of politics.

The whole Russia-Ukraine thing is full of politics. I was pretty sure Australia would win, but all of a sudden towards the end it got exciting to see! It's interesting to see how much the jury and the people can disagree on some songs. I have to say tho, I actually really liked Ukraine's song so I don't mind that they won ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) but yeah, it has been a bit "unstable" in Ukraine so I wonder how it will be next year when they'll arrange it. Is Russia participating?
