I think a nice gesture would be if the money was actually put back into the neighbor the house was in. I am sure there is a lot that can be done to better the neighborhood or at the very least use the money to start some sort of scholarship program for kids that live in that neighborhood. I wonder who runs the Marshall Mather's Foundation? Who decides where the money goes? I willing to bet money on it that it is Paul LOL If Em is this generations Elvis, than Paul is The Colonel (and believe me that is not a good comparison) Hmmm come to think of it I meant that as a joke but the similarities between Paul and The Colonel are very similar. The Colonel would have lame merchandise and weird promotions as well. His promotion of Elvis did not seem to fit the magnitude of Elvis' position in Entertainment, he also appeared to have total control over Elvis. Does Paul manage anyone else? I wonder what Paul's cut is? I saw the tax returns awhile back and Marshall, Paul and some other guy are the only three on the board of his foundation. If I remember correctly, most of the money brought into the foundation every year is spent on community stuff. I do remember he gives like $10K to Elton's AIDS foundation every year. I also remember when he made that commercial for Chrysler, they donated like $250K to his foundation. Almost all the money went back into Detroit. I don't think anyone takes a salary from the foundation. I would have to find the tax records again cuz I am just going off memory. But what I do remember is all the money does go to charity, unlike say Kanye or Bono. EDIT: Found a link. This isn't the one that I originally saw. I originally saw the actual tax documents. But this has the same info. That is good to know...I would hate to think it is just some sort of tax shelter thing that Paul came up with LOL

This article hit the brick on the head and sentiments what we've been feeling: "A Cynical Look at Eminem’s Big, Broken Brick Sale." Key words: purportedly; Zillow; donated (wonder if you can deduct this purchase from your 2016 IRS return...Hmmmm); portion and vague, to name just a few. This article is deliciously irreverent! ww2.kqed.org/pop/2016/05/25/a-cynical-look-at-eminems-big-broken-brick-sale/This article was a really interesting read. So crazy to think about that the 700 bricks they have sold, was sold for more than the actual house was worth. Em refused to buy the house/property before it was destroyed, and now suddenly he ends up making money from it

Wow wonder if the demo company is regretting is decision to sell the debris to Em? Now they know how much they could have made for selling it themselves! I know it has been said time and again but this doesn't look good for Em, they need to turn this around quickly. I think one way to start is to state that 100% of the proceeds are going back to the community.

Anytime the entire kitty goes into one person's, I mean, foundation's account one has to wonder how much is really being siphoned off the dosh. Probably too much work for the demo company to sell the bricks themselves and they wouldn't be able to get EMs signature or the dog tags, or the cassette...LOL! But at least EM, er Paul, paid them enough for the demolition so they made their money back.

Ok, I've been away for a few days and I am not in-tune with the current news, but... what the fuck?
This is a new low. There is no other way to put it. Is Paul that desperate? Is EM that desperate? I don't get this shit.
In any case, it is so humiliating and pathetic. Unless it's some sort of a joke/publicity stunt, but even then... nah.

Lol am I the only one who isn't offended or insulted that they are selling the bricks? I would never spend a dime on that but I'm not the collector type either. From their perspective, they are allowing fans to buy a piece of Em history. Yeah, I think we get that but it seems just too needy plus they should've have done it when the house was actually demolished

I don't think I've ever heard a Lil John song, if I'm honest… But Usher won tons with Yeah and the Confessions album (I think he's the make with most wins?), and Lil John's featured on both
