No album of the year, which I am sure that is what the team was hoping fro ebcause it is the most prestigious and he has never won it. That is the one that made him diss the Grammy's in the first place because of The Eminem Show losing to Norah JOnes' "Come Away With Me Tonight." I am confused how that album won out. Nelly was fire that year too. Same with the Dixie Chicks. But that one song from Norah was good. Andre 3000 who has been out of the limelight fro a while is nominated for album of the year for his "adult" album. I think "revival" and "TDOSS" were his "adult" albums. I thought he had a chance with this one especially because of the daughter songs. To be fair, I remember Norah Jones being HUGE that year. But, I think on 2000, the mmlp lost to Steeley Dan. No one cares about them.. and not many people heard of them either and they made no impact at all 😂. I kind of agree with this. That year, her album was incredibly popular. If I’m not mistaken, it was one of the highest-selling albums of all time at one point. I’m not saying he’s totally wrong—there are definitely times I can’t figure out why someone won Album of the Year—but that particular year, I didn’t disagree with the choice.

I was a bit curious what Ashley has been posting about, because it sounded very cryptic somehow. She’s been posting for many days in a row, kinda like she wants you to believe she was voting for Harris, but not stating it clearly tho. (Although she did post she voted for the future of women’s choices and her daughter’s future, so hopefully that can only mean one candidate??) In 2016 Nate and Ashley were both openly supporting trump and retweeting his tweets and stuff, until Em publicly said how much he hated trump and drew his line in the sand or whatever, lol, and then all of a sudden all their republican tweets were deleted and they were democrats over night 😂😂 Ashley follows Candece Owens on Instagram and she also follows Trump. Some people have way too much time on their hands. I will never understand people who will spend hours scrolling through hundreds of someone else's "follow" list. I follow people on the left and the right. Staying inside an echo chamber just creates myopic, bigoted thinking. It is healthy to always challenge yourself. You need to ask yourself from time to time, "am I the baddie?" And maybe not be so consumed with what other people are doing. I don't get it. I really don't. Is this some way that allows you to think you are morally better than them? Seriously, I don't get it. Like why would you spend your time doing this? I'm so glad I'm not famous or related to someone who is famous.

I remember in this interview with Sway he made a comment about Norah Jones, that gave me the impression it wa sthat loss that stuck with him. Then he mentioned again in this clip about losing fro The Eminem Show, that was against Norah Jones. So I think it botehred him somewhat. Norah Jones was popular, I agree, but not sure how much of an impact she made. Has she done anything since? Typically when an artist makes a true impact, they are known for generations like the Beatles, Michael Jackson, The Bee Gees and Queen. I did not listen to any of them except Michael but I am very well aware of who they all are and their impact, if that makes sense.

3 Grammy nominations is great, especially since he hasn't submitted in a long time. I wasn't expecting a nomination for Album of the Year because this year has been stacked with critically acclaimed pop albums, but seeing Andre 3000 get a nomination for an instrumental album makes me think TDOSS should've been considered.

I’ve said this before, but honestly I had never heard of norah jones either at that time, so have to agree with Em, and TES was EVERYWHERE here! And I can honestly say I looked up what kind of music she makes a few years ago because I have just never heard her music being played here. Maybe she wasn’t that international at the time? (or now, lol) I knew steely dan tho, not that I agreed with them winning over Em, lol. But rap can’t win album of the year

(or now, lol) I knew steely dan tho, not that I agreed with them winning over Em, lol. But rap can’t win album of the year I agree with everything you said. BUT... In 1999, Lauryn Hill became the first hip-hop artist to win Album of the Year with her debut solo album, "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill." She was also the first female artist to win the award for Best Rap Album in 1997 with the Fugees. I think she is the only rap artist EVER to win it. Eminem would make history as the first male hip hop artist to win it if he ever wins. But I have a feeling he was snubbed from that on purpose after how he said it is "Fake as f@ck," in the Sway interview. That is why I am super shocked his team chose to submit his works. Him being nominated in Best Rap Album (although he has won it several times) and best Hip Hop Perfomance is sure to ruffle the cultures' feathers, especially if he beats out Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us" and I have a feeling the Grammys anticipated this. I think they knew execatly what they were doing because it is interesting that besides the Best Video category, the only other nods are in the rap category up agaisnt Kendrick. Kendrick's song has become a mantra of sorts for the culture and if it loses to "Houdini" I am sure some people will be salty. Also interesting Kendrick is also in Dre's camp. And since Grammys voters are music industry people, I do believe there is some relationship stuff going on as well.

I think if people are harmlessly scrolling and checking it out it’s fine. But, there are some who scroll through stuff to be weird and stalk his family and friends. Even though it’s public , it’s weird if your going around looking for people who may or may not be around in or near him or anything like that.

But to be fair, maybe they just typed in the last name, and it easily popped up. Sometimes, though, I feel like the questions get a little invasive here. Obviously, we’re all curious and enjoy talking about him, or we wouldn’t be here, but not gonna lie, I somtime feel uncomfortable by a few of the asks 😬🤣 Also, I had to look up the word myopic. 😂 I agree—sometimes there are lessons learned in respectful, uncomfortable conversations.

I wasn't expecting a nomination for Album of the Year because this year has been stacked with critically acclaimed pop albums, but seeing Andre 3000 get a nomination for an instrumental album makes me think TDOSS should've been considered. I wonder if Eminem/Shady Records submitted because they thought TDOSS had the impact to get nominated for Album of the Year. If he would have got nominated and won, he would be the first male hip hop artists to get that recognition. Instead, the ones he got are really at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to prestige of each of the award categories. I wonder if he agreed to perform there when he submitted his nominations. I still can't believe he did not event get nominated for "Temporary" or "Somebody Save Me." You would think they are at least worth a nomination even if they did not win. EDIT: There are like 90-plus Grammys categories and only about 12 are televised. Last year, Killer Mike won Best Rap Album and Best Rap Performance and I believe those were not even televised. I don't believe any of the rap category is televised to be honest. Eminem is nominated for both of those rap categories. However, I do believe Best Music Video is televised, which he is nominated for as well. Eminem has not won the Grammys' three major categories: Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year. I don't think Beyonce has either. He also mentioned in that Sway interview how she gets tricked to attend the awards by hints she will win those big categories.

He looks relaxed and even a little joke. Grandpa Marshall might be living his best life right now ❤️. Also, what did everyone think about ‘See You Soon’?”

I’m not going to read much into it…..yet. He has some shows in December and could be referring to that, but you never know where he could pop up!
