Alaina had it in her IG stories and captioned it “ raise your hand if you’ll be crying tomorrow” Seems like this video might be liek "Mockingbird." I loved that song and video. I wonder if we will get wedidng footage for both girls since he mentions it in the song. It would be cool to have footage of all three girls this time around. This song/video makes me think this might eb aretirement album after all. I was hoping for a part 2, but...I don't know. Dre did say he's planning on stepping away around 60 and that's happening next year. Without Dre, will Em really have the need to continue? What would be interesting to me is if this is an era of "killing off" personas. First c Slim, then Em and then Marshall hanging it up. Personally, I really like that idea and kind of gives fans the closure they might be expecting. Any thoughts on that?

I liked the majority of the songs, and I know this isn’t at least the end of all projects because he does seem to have a few things in the works with documentaries or TV. If more albums - will of course be happy as well.

Heard Dre wants to do archery in next Olympics…stepping away to be an Olympian (joking…joking).

I believe it was MTBMB or Kamakazi he said something to the effect of rapping the same thing 1,000 different ways, 1,000 different times which is telling. Maybe he's killing off Shady because there is no one left in him but "Marshall" anymore and he has admitted to being a nerd so it's possible that "Marshall" wouldn't be all that interesting to rap about in his mind? Just throwing things out. If this is his retirement, then he is choosing it on his own terms...Going out because he knows it's "time" and not to become a hot mess like some celebrities do clinging to fame. Goats (mountain goats at least) either make it to the top or they die trying. He's at the top and has been with nothing left to prove. I just made myself tear up. I'm preparing for tomorrow.

That made me emotional too 🥲 If he retires, I will not be ok at all for a very long time... but I'll completely understand. He has done it all. What a legend he is.

IF he retires at least we will have all his music to still enjoy. I don’t think he will retire completely, but rather he will be behind the scenes and do more producing and still be involved in music.

I don't think this is a retirement video. Emotional video but not retirement one.

THis album seems to have done away with Slim, but if you listen backwards it is Eminem/Marshall.

THis album seems to have done away with Slim, but if you listen backwards it is Eminem/Marshall. Well, in that interview he did with his past self, he explained that Eminem is a combination of slim and Marshall.. so I gather it's a lot like Kamikaze and MTBMB. So, it's the crazy level of rapping that he does.. the super lyrical Em. I don't know exactly how he would/could kill that persona off, but it could slowly transition from that crazy Em spitting we typically get and transition more into something more personal. From there, the final album could be something of a fan service and something about where he's at now where the final song could be a thank you (something that he did with king Mathers)

He's not retiring relax maybe a midlife crisis ? Closing chapters in his life? Could be, he said several times he wants to do things no one else has done in hip hop so he's not done maybe slow down a bit.

Alaina had it in her IG stories and captioned it “ raise your hand if you’ll be crying tomorrow” It's gonna be so sad 🥺 let’s hope not all sad. Maybe they'll have a happy ending. Maybe clips walking down the aisle, etc.

I don't think so either.. but I was just expressing a way that he could potentially retire. However, there aren't too many people that are necessarily rapping at Em's level and age at this point. So, the reality might be that he'll retire sooner rather than later

I think it's the end of an era for him. Dre's slowing down due to health issues, his doctors probably advised him stop working like he used. They're all getting old but in no way I think they will stop making music, look at McCartney.
