Hear doomsday pt 2 now!!! Woot woot! Dude.. I'm so amped. His flow is ridic. I'm a little dissapointed. It's exciting to get something "new" from him, but I feel like this was lazy. I mean Benzino is old news. That beef needs to end and Benzino needs to be put on an infinite ignore. Also, why bring up Benzino's daughter. I am not sure maybe one of you know, but did Benzino ever mention Hailie? I don't think he did. He always just kept drilling the same narrative around "Foolish Pride." I feel like Eminem went there because it's easy and it would Harkin back to the old Em that fans crave. It seems like he lacks new content. The man needs to get out there and live life so he can deliver fresh content with new things to address. He could have even went after Dr. Umar. That would have went viral big time! I feel like he rifled through some old notebooks and fused some old disses with new tea on Benzino, like the Rooftop Inn. That is about the only thing that seemed fresh besides the verses about his daughter. Like, why dig in on personal family stuff, I feel like it is a cheap shot. I remdember him in an interview saying that artists should stay away from mentioning kids and family. Just my two cents though and I am sure it will not be a popular opinion.Β I totally understand that you don't like it and I see what you're saying. I do think that Cole Bennet hyped it up and saying it was shocking when it wasn't really. Personally, I just love how Em talks his shit lol I think he mentioned Coi because she did speak on Em on at least 2 different occasions about the beef and a wanting/not wanting a collab because of her dad's beef. Benzino did briefly mention Hailie in the song Die another day. He was essentially saying she was going to be like jonbenet Ramsey. I do feel like this verse was written probably last year when Coi and Benzino were beefing with each other. If Em comes out with an album, he'll probably address Dr Umar then. That's my guess.

Funny verse, not expected Benzino diss , not too much replay value if I'm honest. I prefer Lace it, that was great!. I hope we get an album soon

Also, I highly recommend the lyrical lemonade album. It's pretty dope. Even the mumble rappers actually sound good on this lol

I didn't know Benzino went there with Hailie but I am sure Em addressed it at the time. I remember hearing Coi being asked on Math Hoffa if she would do a feature with Em and I am glad she said no out of respect for her dad, whether they get along or not. Not like Em would do one with her anyway. But I also remember her saying she is tired of this beef and she doesn't want to be involved. She seems like the only mature one in the bunch and she is the youngest. I know Benzino is beefing with Busta Rhymes. Do you think Busta and Em might do something together about Bezino? I would be here for that!

I would be here for that!Β Die hard Stans will love it π. I'm glad she does have that respect for her father. But, Em's lyrics from The Sauce came true. Benzino was angry when Coi didn't give him any money or anything like that. I guess he's trying to eat off his children. You're also totally right about her being the mature one. She's trying to establish herself as an artist and it's hard to do that when her father is running around beefing with people. When it comes to Coi, it must be hard managing her relationship with her father. She respects him enough not to do anything with artists he's beefing with. With the whole Busta Rhymes thing.. it's pretty wack. She's a grown woman who's forging her own path doing and wearing what she wants to. It would be really interesting to see Em and Busta Rhymes get on a track and put Benzino to rest. But,.like you were saying, it's been 20 years with Em and Ben. So, it would be more of the same thing. On top of that, these lyrics would then become false. Clearly Benzino is a problem if Em can't stop mentioning him. What are your thoughts? Oh yeah, so I believe the song was called Die another day.. that's when Benzino mentioned Halie. I can't recall if he responded to that or if the Sauce came out after that. My memory is a bit hazy lol. Either way, I'm itching for a new em album. I wonder what he'll talk about. Maybe a whole slew of songs dedicated to the Lions π

Maybe a whole slew of songs dedicated to the Lions π I agree with what you are saying, but nt so sure Benzino is totally wack for not wnating his daughter doing those things in a video with a guy from his same generation. I'm sure Em would go ham if ailie decided to do something similar with an artist from his era. I think that is a natural dad instinct. Em still get salty if peopel even mention Hailie an she almost 30, so... I agree with you that it would be kind of lame to keep harping on Benzino, but Busta has a new reason to clown Benziino and I can see him enlisting Em for the fun of it. BUt I agree it is old, that is why I felt this diss made n sense. Why now to bring up Benzino when his own life is dissing him. I just hope Benzin doesn't start in on Em again because we know that will just ignite that "Foolish Pride" drama again and we are in the climate where Em does not need that kind of smoke. People too sensitive right now. A new album would be awesome. Even though I am not a fan of Jay-z, I would love if Em did something similar to Jay-z's 4:44, where he reflects on his life as an older man with older man issues. I know some think "Revival" was his version of that, but he just reminisced about his old life. We need to know what is happening now! Is he going through midlife crisis, is he lonely, grumpy? Is he looking froward to being a grandpa, does he struggle with seeing the grls grown? How have him and Kim grown as adult friends? Maybe a mention of the intruder β he could do an entire song on that similar to Stan. Maybe even talking about his friendships through the years. Maybe a song about a missed opportunity in a relationship that can be from before fame or after. Maybe a rap to his younger self about where he is now. Maybe even being vulnerable again and sharing if he is on the spectrum and if so, what it officially is β I know he has mentioned Aspergers and that would fit. There are options if he gets out of his own way!

There are options if he gets out of his own way! Benzino was fair with that acknowledgement on which Coi was dressing in that Busta video. At the same time, business is business and I would assume that's how they saw it. If that was my child, I would be upset. I'm sure Em would feel the same way with his daughter as well. LOL at Benzinos own life is dissing him. I low-key feel bad for him in a way. He truly fell from grace and never adapted. I believe his own nephew shot him at one point as well. Everyone hates him. As far as em, he should move on from it. There's no coming back for Benzino. But, Em could begin to lose respect because people may look at it as someone living off their legacy versus creating something fresh. I know people hated Revival.. but I actually loved it. My favorite personal songs are on that album. Castle and Arose hit me to my core. At the same time, the beats were pretty terrible on that album. It felt more poppish than hip hop and it felt really dated. Although, Em known to rap on unorthodox beats. People say him and Nas are the worst beat pickers.. and I while I disagree.. I also can't disagree with what they say when it comes to that. I would love something a bit more personal from Em to see where he's at nowadays. But, maybe life is too good for him and doesn't really have anything to talk about. Personally, while this era of Em has been the most purely hip hop Em, his old records uptick in sales when the releases new material. Maybe that's what they're going for? Who really knows. What I really would love to see is Em settling down with someone and maybe talk about his journey and also maybe his hindsight from where he came from to where he's at now. Or maybe we need a little bit of everything to satisfy all aspects of Em

It could be like a 2 disc album where he gives his fans 2 versions of him. First side could be all the personal things that his fans want to hear. The second part could be him talking his shit. It would be such an interesting mix
