I hate when people do this. Why do they even put something like that in the universe. It's just sick and wrong! I saw something on TikTok and I assumed it was an error, now I know someone started this nonsense. UGH!

I first read this as he had died and almost had a heart attack. Good grief...some people.

Watched "50 Years of Hip Hop," the Grammy produced special. It was excellent. Some of the usual suspects, Jay Z, Snoop, EM, Kendrick, etc., were not present. There was a disclaimer at the beginning of the show stating not everyone, basically, could make it. It was more kinda old school. Though there was some youngens. Like Chance The Rapper. Sure EM was home watching...LOL! LL Cool J hosted and then, much I'm sure to EMs chagrin, Machine Gun Kelly came out and babbled how Hip Hop was a major force in his life.

I thought it was great as well! LL Cool J was also a producer of the shows under Rock the Bells so I was shocked that LL couldn't elicit even a virtual pop up from Em, but it was a good show nonetheless. MGK kept getting camera spots in the audience but I noticed he seemed awkward when he he did the introduction. I do wish Em did more of tehse things. Many of his favorites were there and perfomred. I wish we really knew why he is so reluctant to attend these things.

I don't think LL would invite him to be on for that reason, it most likely was a business move on the behalf of the Grammys. I am sure the Grammys reached out to studio heads and talent management and let them know they were partnering on this event. HOWEVER, I could see the Grammys inviting MGK and inviting him to introduce talent as a way to stick it to Em because he said he would never go on their show again. I picture Em watching the show and cursing the screen.

It's such bullshit. I wonder how LL felt with MGK there 😂. While I personally don't mind MGK, like I don't hate him nor do I like him. But, having him on does hip hop 50th s lot of injustice. In my opinion, he already switched genres and there are a lot more better rappers than him to put on.

I'm not a fan of MGK either, but I actually thought it was okay because he didn't perform and he just introduced someone. He was influenced into music because of rap, so it kind of makes sense. I would have been annoyed if he performed, but he was mostly just a guest. In a way I almost feel he is more respectful than Em. Sure Eminem thanks everyone for their contributions but seldom does he give his time to come out and participate. I mean, he claims he loves hip hop so much, but he has not been at one single 50th celebration, not even at LL Cool J's event in Michigan where even Ice T showed up. The man is like nearly 70 and he was there. Just my two cents.

Like, he is way too big to the point where it'll overshadow other artists and their contributions. But, I also could be wrong. It would be awesome if he at least came out and did an introduction to LL or something m that would've been awesome.
