If we are going to talk about the things that men do, let's not forget to talk about how much some people love Dre when he is a known and admitted woman abuser and it all gets glossed over because Stan's love what he did for Eminem, but noone ever posts any of those reports on this forum. It's interesting how some people can have SELECTIVE outrage—but that's privilege for you. This mofo literally beat the crap out of media personality Dee Barnes over something she didn't even do that involved Ice Cube (but he was too much of a coward to face him) and also beat and shot at the mother of his children Michel'e, not to mention the alleged abuse against his recently divorced wife. Don't even get me started with Jimmy and his previous problematic and racist comments and behavior. But no worries, as soon as Dre stops making money for the industry, he will get canceled just like Weinstein and Cosby. But let's stick to important issues, like some two-bit rappers who say they didn't like an album that tons of people said they didn't like. (Insert eye roll) Nobody talks about it. But overall you don’t hear much about this subject at all and money talks. I just think it’s weird how people get canceled for the smallest stuff and others can literally do so much worse and nobody cares. Cancellation has a lot to do with public outcry to be honest. The hip hop industry is very toxic and a lot goes under the radar, espcially regarding women because it is also a heavily misogynistic genre. I'm sure the powers that be told Dre to hurry up and settle with his ex-wife because she had started opening up about the abuse and all of a sudden her unrealistic demands became more reasonable and she got that $100 million dollar settlement and you haven't heard anything from her since. Money talks on so many fronts. Em's fans have their heads so far up Dre, I just don't get it and many of them are women. It's really sad to be honest.

And I think sometimes people excuse the behavior of their personal life because of that. It all comes down to the image that is crafted by their management, some can’t see beyond that. The same could be said for Marshall. He is great at what he does but none of us know what he is like beyond his professional image. We hear stories and Interviews of people who have worked with him, Dre etc and they have nothing bad to say. But In reality would anyone come out and say if they were terrible To work with? Probably not.

There are a lot of talented criminals and bad characters in the world. Only when people are valued above money, fame and power, will the fact that someone is talented and makes a lot of money not a determining factor about in relation to their egregious behavior. Dre should have been canceled a long time ago. I think it is a big reason he lays low and doesn't really speak out about much. People in glass houses can't throw stones and Hollywwod will turn on you in a dime when they don't need you anymore.

Altogether accurate... worth observing that Dre has also been also publicly contrite about his abuse, though I'm not making any calls on sincerity.

Actually, it has been noted he never apologized to Michel'e when he made a public apology to the women he hurt. This was after years of abuse and even though she was one of his main artists in the beginning, he did not even feature her in his film Straight our of Compton, which he was criticized for. Like many other offenders he apologized as a preemeptive measure so he wouldn't get cancelled. Just look how he treated his last wife Nicole on the end and through the divorce to truly understand what he thinks of women. Also, watch old footage of him listening to Eminem's "Kim" and he is hysterically laughing while he listens to it. The man is sick, and I'm being kind.

He looks GREAT and taller than someone for once. I wonder if they are in Vegas with Fredwreck. Could this be that fight? Is it in Vegas? I also think his parents live in Michigan as well, though.

Good question, but I bet it is recent because Fredwreck has been introducing his parents around. They met Snoop a couple of days ago and his mom just snuggled him. I wonder if she snuggled Eminem. he probably needs a mommy snuggle.

Like I said - publicly contrite. Fully repentant? Abjectly self-loathing? Actually remorseful? None of that was part of my statement. Also his selectivity is irrelevant to the fact that he said something publicly. I'm also not guessing about his motives but if you want to give him hell for it, omitting the gesture (whatever its purpose) seems negligent.
Also, am I the only one who finds this ironic in an Eminem forum? Do feminist women really love Eminem?

Maybe they all met at the same time or something.
