I honestly feel like Nick is obsessed with Em this time around - he’s been talking shit about Em for years, threatening him, saying he’s gone out to look for him, challenging him to a rap battle etc, I’d say Nick kinda had this coming.
People on twitter saying Em started this, but imo Nick started this one.
And I still love love love Em’s verse on Lord Above!!! Been having it on repeat all day every day since it came out 😍

I don't think it was a trap for Nick, I doubt Em thought Nick was going to do a "serious" diss track against him. I think he sees him as an easy target, which he needs to stay away from! Because now we have that lame diss. I hope he doesn't respond. He deserve that one anyway lol. Plus they have been divorce for a while! Come'on.. I agree it’s lame, but him dissing MGK after years was lame too, but we got the best thing Ems done in years out of it. Also, this is exactly what he did with Bagpipes from Baghdad and The Warning. It’s like he can only get out a good diss song if someone gives him a diss song first Like, there’s no reason he can’t drop a whole song going after Budden. But he seems to have some kind of gentleman’s rap code of not dropping a whole song on someone unless they do one to him too He only dissed MGK because he dissed him first after years. There was a Diss not too long before Em first replied to him. |
