A few more funny throwbacks. poor Em seemed so sick here. I remember originally seeing this. I was happy to see him but also really worried for him. Poor thing was so out of shape too. Tubby Em! (his booty looked good though). I remember all the message board were making fun of his weight  Glad he is all better! |

He used to be so playful and comfortable in front of the camera. It's like someone took all the air out of his sails when Proof died, he fell into the deep depression, overdosed, and then later on got clean. I think he's much better off and healthier these days, but he's definitely not the seemingly carefree person he used to be. I think it's more than him just being off drugs now. I think a piece of him died when Proof died (and when Ronnie died before that). He's forever been changed. I think he's emotionally stronger now, but also more emotionally fragile--if that makes any sense at all. I think he has to be much more aware of--and take care of--his emotional and physical health nowadays. |

If you watch the BTS of the We Made You video you can see that he can still be playful. I think the issue is he is too hyper aware in front of cameras these days, he always has his guard up outside of his comfort zone. But I'm sure that Proof's death, his depression and the social isolation have all contributed to his more sombre and sometimes awkward demeanor. |

I don't know if anyone watches Lip Sync Battle, but Michael Phelps was on the All Stars and he "sang" Lose Yourself They don't show the before and after interview here, but he said that he plays this song before he competes because it gets him in the zone. And then after, LL Cool J mentioned they hadn't had an Eminem song on the show yet, but gave a shout out to Em and Paul. Spoiler: Even though Michael wasn't that great, he actually won. Probably because he sang an Em song.  |
