LOL I always thought it could be somewhat inspired by Jenny, I mean the situation is almost the same, she is married, husband cheating and abusive she hooks up with Em, Em feels like it is just a Friends with benefits thing, ends it. He just embellished the story a bit to make the song more interesting by adding he made her abort the baby, etc. LOL Why does everyone believe Jenny and bring her up again after all that years? To me she was lying about herself and Em. If I am wrong and she lost his Baby he sure wouldnt turn that into an abortion to make a Song more interesting. I don't think Jenny was ever pregnant with Em's baby. |

I mean myself I believe parts of what Jenny said only because of the stuff she said about Mariah, Britney Murphy and Aunt Betty turned out to be right. I believe they had something going on. Since I believe that and this is one of the only relationship we know he has been in, the only one I think that involved someone married, I just can see how he may draw inspiration from it when he heard the hook that Ed sent over to him. I don't, however, believe she meant anything to him, I think she was just there and an easy way for him to get back at Kim. I also don't believe that she was ever pregnant by him. If she was she would have come out the gate screaming about it, not wait until the book had been published and "Oh by the way I was pregnant with his child and lost it." But everyone has their theories about all of his songs...I know mine tend to be "out there" and I admit it LOL |

stefanie I get you but no one said it was inspired 100% by Jenny or they thought Jenny was even ever pregnant... It reminded me of Jenny. It could be or not. My first thought was it reminded me of it, but I don't think it actually was. Or if it was, it was just a far away memory turn into creativity for a song. I think we all know Em gets inspired by his own life and by his past. But he does a lot of fictional too.

I think she was smitten by Em and tried to be around as much as possible, and Em in turn saw her as a "free hookup" and used her for sex maybe, since she was around and "available" and he had problems with Kim. Easier with someone who's already around the house and family than to meet someone new, especially since Em wasn't looking for a relationship or anything serious. |

Liked, not loved, the video because it has essences of "Space Bound" and "Love the Way You Love." Oh, yeah, EMs the real romantic...In bed with his cap on...LMAO. It's like Texan men who jump into bed with their boots on! On another note, I read the Jenny autobiography and the video kinda reminded me of her situation with EM, not that this might be the impetus. I believe EM and Jenny did do the nasty and maybe he did knock her up. Who know, and who cares, because there's no "Mini-Me" walking around. What I didn't care for is how they dyed EMs hair and beard to match. Talk about "collars and cuffs." What a metro-sexual EM is turning into!

I loved the video it was something different that I haven't seen Em do in a while but also it just shows how much of a Great actor he is..I just wish he would do at least one more movie and I also think he should of done a Beyonce thing where he dropped his album w/ videos I think the album would of been received a whoooole lot better with Videos. I just feel like EMs songs do better with visuals. Im sure RIVER is going to be on the charts now because of the video and positive feedback. Just my opinion
