More and more troublesome reports about will
Man I’m gutted. I stopped following wills career for a while because I thought he was becoming a bit to cartoony for my taste but always held a special place in my fan heart for him because I was obsessed during his fresh prince days. I get the remarks/ blatant racism will dealt were totally toxic for but for will to take it out on this guy is so disturbing
I think this is part of the reason why I worry Em has sh circling him. Because if it turns out Em is anything like royces nasty conniving ass I will be absolutely GUTTED

Will Smith resigned from the Academy. At 1st I thought it was April Fool's, but no it's legit.
Idk if it was his decision or if he was basically told either you quit or we fire you...my guess is it's the 2nd option and he resigned rather than deal with the humiliation of being stripped of his membership.
He almost makes Royce look like he isn't messy. ALMOST, lol. What a shit show.

That's sad really, I watched King Williams a couple of days ago his portrayal was so good, I was shaking my head ..idk but it's like he ruined also the moment for the Williams family. I hope he gets help 'cause that outburst is definitely a sign that sth is wrong with him, everyone can see it.... and Jada...well she needs to chill too.

Wonder if David Miscavige will drag Will's sorry ass back to the Scientology headquarters in LA for an audit. He and Jada have always denied their involvement, but those in Hollywood know better!

I don't hate Will or anything at all, I just personally don't believe he lost total control of himself and hit someone on international television while in a fit of rage. Especially not after laughing. It was a calculated choice, less about Jada and more about him being put on the spot and perceiving that his manhood was at stake. I have alopecia. I wear wigs. It sucks, I can't part my remaining hair or wear it down without huge bald patches showing. And I realize I don't represent every single person with hair loss BUT it isn't cancer or anything terminal. To be fair, Chris may not have even known. If Jada was going through chemo it would've been one thing but she's in the top 1%, beautiful, incredibly fortunate, not about to be devastated by a bad joke about a movie from 1997. Also he has always been a bit of q narcissist and now everyone will talk about HIM and KING RICHARD and HIS oscar....but Jada's hair loss is going to be headline news for weeks and Will could possibly (I doubt it) lose his Oscar for breaking the Academy code of conduct. I'm going on and on but say someone had insulted Michelle Obama in front of Barack, he would have talked to them and made them want to die of shame on the spot, but he wouldn't have hit anyone bc he's too dignified and knows that black men are already stereotyped as violent time bombs. Will was really stupid not to keep that in mind, and then to apologize to everyone except the person he assaulted was lame. I agree that it wasn’t a fit of rage. It was weird and the whole family was seen at an after party in good spirits. Everyone has a right to feel safe in the workplace and this should even apply to celebrities. I became disillusioned with the Smiths when they seemed to become intertwined with Scientology and the last few years seem to be a bit self righteous - of course that is how a lot of celebrities are. I’m with you, do we know that Chris Rock knew of her condition. He has been making fun of her for years and this joke just wasn’t that impactful to deserve such a strong reaction. I feel bad for the other winners and all the people who worked so hard on the show. Had Will handled this differently they could have resulted in an education for people about alopecia. I don’t know you but, I am sorry you have to deal with alopecia. I get that it isn’t cancer but, losing your hair is hard for men and women.

I’m a little late I guess, lol, but I’m actually kinda bummed for Will… I’m a huge Will fan and I just love him, but what he did was wrong and unnecessary. I wasn’t even a big Chris Rock fan, but after the Oscars I just felt sorry for him but at the same time gained respect for him for how professionally he handled everything. And he genuinely seemed shocked! Like even still 🥺
But I’m bummed for Will too, because he won his first oscar and I think he really deserved it and I’m so happy for him for that! But he had to ruin his moment… if he and Jada just would have rolled their eyes and looked hurt, Chris would’ve been the a-hole and been in the news as the bad guy, and Will and Jada would’ve had all the sympathy in the world… but no, now there’s a shitstorm coming for Will… Still love him tho!

Netflix just cancelled Will and decided to scrap a movie they were going to make with him. It's just the beginning of the shit storm!

Netflix just cancelled Will and decided to scrap a movie they were going to make with him. It's just the beginning of the shit storm! Part of me feels bad for will. He worked really hard for his career and it’s never going to be the same if he punched rock out of anger reflex like behind the scenes it would still be sooo wrong. But I get sometimes u snap and react. But he legit slowly walked up and then slapped him. It wasn’t just a quick impulse punch. And in front of the world? maybe it’s a good thing he is losing roles right now so he can take time and figure out why he acted like that. I just don’t want it to destroy his career forever. I read an article recently about celeb assistant and in it the assistant said a lot of celebs are “characters” are soo diff than reality. Whether it’s a good, bad or just plain different. I think with social media tho and just stress their images are just cracking and the real selves are showing In a psychology perspective it’s really interesting to witness. Anyway I feel bad for Chris the most. It must have been a second slap in the face to see everyone give this man a standing ovation 30 mins after being publicly humiliated like that. The audience should be ashamed
