I really liked "Loving Vincent," too, matty. But what I did love about it was how the animation replicated his art. It was as if Vincent was painting the movie! I just came from seeing "The Shape of Water." Amazing! Like Vincent van Gogh, Guillermo del Toro is another artistic visionary. Pretty sure Francis McDormand will get the Oscar, but Sally Hawkins (in fact the whole cast) was brilliant! |

I watched the whole first season and a couple of episodes from the second season of the tv series Power yesterday, thanx to Em's vulture interview. I have to say I was a bit skeptical at first, because Em and I have such different tastes, at least in movies, but I'm pretty hooked now. It's actually really good. I don't think it's a sort of tv show I'd normally try getting into watching, so I'm glad I did. Now I can't stop watching it 😂

I've watched it from the first episode and I think in the 50 Thread I mentioned how the show was kinda dressing Tommy like EM. Lots of hoodies, haircut, etc. Of course, Ghost is Fiddy as Fiddy was a drug dealer, but not of the Ghost magnitude. Tommy and Ghost/EM and Fiddy. Bet that's why EM has a soft spot for the show, me |

Recently watched Autopsy of Jane Doe. Super good horror movie imo! Had this spooky feeling from the start. It was kind of a "nail biter" movie, and I don't feel like that with a lot of movies! Highly recommend! 👍🏻😊

I subscribed to "Movie Pass" and I've never been the same! I heard there are other variations abroad especially in England. I think I have seen like 7 movies in the last 2 weeks. "I Feel Pretty" (better than I expected!); "Tully" (not for everyone because it's the Fifth Sense meets Motherhood); "Isle of Dogs" (Love Wes Anderson!); "Avengers: Infinity War" (It is what it is...A popcorn roller coaster ride) "Final Portrait" (True eccentric moments in art) and a couple of others. Worth every cent!

It won 4 Oscars for a reason. It's brilliant. My favorite movie of the year, sophiemom. And, it's not a horror story by a long shot. It's about the poor vs. the rich. Pretty much the way life works today, but with a twist. It's twisted, that's for sure! |

Dude I watched every episode in one night. It was fucking amazing

It was fucking amazing If you are into true crime highly recommend Me too! Love true crime. I watched the first 3 episodes of accused tonight and I love them! I was so worked up towards the end of each show. Its really good! I highly recommend The Keepers on Netfilx if you have not seen it. Its about the murder of a nun in 1969 and incredibly corrupt priests that covered it up. Also The Disappearance of Madeleine McCain but its sad because its about a little girl who disappeared in Portugal. |
