WTF is this??? I don't think this was Em's idea but he probably went along with it for the lolz. Sometimes an idea looks cool on paper but the execution can fail. They should just drop the album and stop with the nonsense, such a waste of money. We don't need all that extra shit. The anti Trump cypher caught everyone's attention they should have kept the momentum going by releasing the first single. I really don't understand what they are trying to do with this covert marketing plan. Most of the fans don't even care, what made them think the general public would give 2 shits about a fake ad and a booth at a convention? In this day and age social media is so prevalent, that's what they should be focusing on. He needs to fire his team! I agree Social media rules everything They thought they were so smart doing that snl commericial News flash no one really watches tv anymore. They Hulu it the next day. No one noticed until Paul posted that instagram picture. It was a cool idea but they did not ride the cypher and internet buzz like they should have They should have done something like Taylor did. Start deleting all social media and come back with subtle snippets of videos/songs. I'm worried-I hope Em hasn't lost his edge. Could u imagine him dropping Stan in 2017? Omg that would be insane. The internet would have broke Now I'm worried this album is just gonna be cliche. It doesn't even seem like Em wants to drop it They should have either rode the cypher and commercial wave or done a sudden drop. But they are doing like a combo of the two and it's coming off bothersome rather than exciting

Sometimes I think Em is permanently stuck in the early 2000s in his head. They should try something new, like a podcast. The cool thing about podcasts is that you can have long talk without having to talk about your life. You are discussing random topics and giving your opinion which is a much more intimate form of interview imo. Don't think it will happen but throwing it out there in case there are some shady records lurkers lol. TBH if he deleted all social media, only fans would notice. He's not active at all so nobody outside of fans would really care. I honestly don't think they need much to promote the album. Let the music speak for itself at this point and save yourself the embarrassment. I don't think they need to remake Stan, such an iconic song that he will never be able to top. The Stan hints and the drug themed promos have me scratching my head. I trust there will be at least 6 good songs on the project that will have to be enough.

But they are doing like a combo of the two and it's coming off bothersome rather than exciting He should do like Taylor and hold a "listen party" at his house for his fans. I would go. :88 In all honesty, Em isn't into social media. You know someone else runs that account. And you guys are being harsh. Man, chill...it ain't that bad. Just a side note...have you ever seen this video of Taylor on Graham Norton's show. His reaction is what makes the whole bit. It's hilarious. And can you imagine Em stalking his fans online like Taylor did?

I think it's bizarre. And those drug pens look exactly like the real thing. Ugly AF, just like all pharmaceutical merchandise. Wonder if they had the sticky note pads with the Revival logo too, Lol. The talking "drug rep" is beyond weird. But this is Eminem we're talking about I guess. He loves it. The weirder and cringier the better as far as he's concerned, Haha. Yeah but this isn't exciting weird this is lame dad weird lol Don't get me wrong-it was exciting when it first dropped but then they stopped riding the wave. They should have started rolling out songs or something soon after The excitement is dead and all we have are shitty Stan hats and pharmaceutical pensLmaooooo. Best quote of the day, hahaha

The Stan hints and the drug themed promos have me scratching my head. I trust there will be at least 6 good songs on the project that will have to be enough. he reminds me of one of my bffs lol. We always joke cuz she is permanently stuck in 2008. With music, shows, actors, etc. hahaha I'm like girl that was ten years ago! The problem with being stuck in a year though, especially if you are an artist, is that it might prevent you from growing creatively. Like MMLP2 was really good but it wasn't innovative in the concept you know? He was doing a sequel and Revival with the title and promo doesn't seem innovative at all so far. And it makes me sad because with the internet he had like free reign to do things he couldn't do in 2000. He should embrace it-rather than shun it. you are right they don't need a lot of promo. So that's why I wish they didn't do the website and commercial thing. It was cool again if they rode it but now its just corny and stupid because they didn't do anything with it. Now we just think he is going to rehash the pill concept and he is just going to drop the album all blah like. If he came out of nowhere with a crazy video people would eat the shit up. Even my friends who aren't big Em fans are like what happened? I thought he was coming out with single soon after his cypher? its like they had a momentum going and then they lost it you had one opportunity Em!! And you let it slipped!!! (pun intended lol) Also, I wasn't wanting him to remake Stan btw. I was just saying imagine dropping a song that is so iconic nowadays. Like posting it online...people would have broken the net because it was so innovative and new back then. anyway im sure this album will be good...but is that all its going to be? "good?" I'm looking for innovative and iconic damn it!!! ( i have a lot of expectations for Em lol )

But who are we to judge, we are stanning a ghost lol. Maybe we're the ones stuck in 2002. I misread your comment about Stan. For sure it would be massive, it felt really massive back in the day too. I thought you meant if he released Stan 2. Although I will say I liked Bad Guy. GG102 Honestly, not excited at all about the rumors at this point. I almost want to avoid anything Em related until the album drops so I can form my opinion. When you hear too much hype you end up disappointed 9 times out of 10.

nelly, I don't think it's hype so much as a possible truth. NME is one of Britain's most popular and respected music rag. It would make sense, and seem obvious, with the Awards date and EMs drop date that EM would go to Europe, and simultaneously get an award or two in the process, and go public with his first single.

I don't doubt that he will attend, just saying I'm not even excited about it. I meant I don't want to listen to the hype that will ensue once promo kicks off. You know we are going to hear how revolutionary his album is by people around him, that's what I want to avoid. I would love to listen to the whole album without any outside influence and experience the music fully. That's what I'm excited about.
