Imagine being stuck in that room πππ would have been nice to see a video for a new song though. But Iβm not complaining Iβll take it π

Ha! I wonder if this is a take off on that old saying If you put 100 monkeys with typewriters in a room long enough, eventually you'll get Hamlet!

Looks like it could be a snippet of the new WOW video. With all the clones...LOL...It kinda looks like when EM was on the MTV Awards way back when with all the blond males that looked like him.

We all know Em can't type. Also, am I wrong or is this the first album of his where he wasn't on the cover of Rolling Stone's? I think for all his other albums he has been on the cover and done an interview.

Iβm so confused right now, maybe someone in the know can help me out. The official chart data now has Eminemβs sales down to 245-255k on opening week for the USA. Spotify have released their numbers for Em, 120,000,000 over the last 5 days worldwide. 104,000,000 of those are for Revival, just over 32,000,000 are in the USA alone. I know he currently has the #1 album and single in the UK on iTunes who are yet to release any numbers. I mean come on, surely that counts for something? I am an iTunes girl, so I understand that a bit better I pay a monthly fee so the artist gets something from each stream. I think (though I could be wrong) Spotify uses advertising? So how does this mean the album is a flop? As cited by the mean media? Iβm so confused, I know how we consume music has changed but surely 120 million has to count for something? π€·ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈ Yes, artists get paid from streaming and streaming gets counted towards albums sales, it's referred to as Sales plus Streaming (SPS). Spotify has paid subscribers just like Apple Music, Tidal, etc. And artists get a cut per stream but it's pretty small, like a fraction of a penny per stream but it adds up. So everytime you or anyone listens to a artist on one of the streaming services they get a fraction of a penny. The way streaming gets counted toward album sales is like this: 1500 song streams equals 1 album sale. So, 32 million streams of songs off of Revival would roughly equaly 21,333 in album sales.

Thank you, thatβs helps a lot π I wonder why he didnβt do an Adele or Taylor Swift and hold off on digital streaming? He is a big enough star and maybe it would have helped those numbers a bit π€ but then again this is the team that is only just giving us a music video for a song released weeks and weeks ago! πππ

Every Sample on Eminem's 'Revival' | Genius News
It's interesting because the beat on some of these samples are like "Bezerk," the Billy Squire song, and from the same 80s big hair era. Rick Rubin is so "old school," and zoned out, that he forgot he's repeating himself. Not a big fan of his productions on "Revival."

Not sure which is more surprising, he sampled Barry White....or that awful hook from Offended was sampled from some kids song! (no offense to anyone who likes the Offended hook!)

Just for you willowmoonblood ! Whether it's psychic or sick, I was humming this hooky song about a week before EM dropped "Revival."
