I just had the brightest idea! I'm gonna tell everyone I want Em's new album for christmas! We'll have at least 16 people coming over for christmas and if they all get me Em's new album... 😈 More sales for Em to make up for Universal screwing up his first week sales, lol 😂😂 OMG I would die if I had that many people over for Christmas! LOL Weird thought (I have tons of them I know) I wonder if there is some clause in Em's contract that if he sells below a certain number first week he can be released from his contract with Interscope? I know some people have a theory that Em is wanting to go with Paul to Def Jam. I was just thinking maybe enough physical copies weren't shipped knowing that Em's fans usually buy physical as opposed to Digital so the album wouldn't sell as much first week? Eh....crazy thought I know....the entire promo just seems off to me so I guess I am looking for anything to make it make sense

Eh....crazy thought I know....the entire promo just seems off to me so I guess I am looking for anything to make it make sense I have read about that theory as well, Em wanting to change labels. Not that I think they would do anything with his contract no matter how bad he sells, because he is after all one of their biggest acts, and already the name Eminem always sells a lot. Anyways, I don't really know much about record companies or music corporations or how they work, but just curious how it would work in practice, Em is now putting out his albums through Aftermath and Interscope, which are under Universal music. If he moves to DefJam isn't he leaving Aftermath? Would he really leave Dre's record label? And what happens to Shady Records? Isn't that somehow under Interscope and Universal? Can he move a record label from Universal to DefJam? If not can he put out albums both for DefJam and for Shady Record for Universal?

Also, can Em and Paul (or whoever) have that much of an impact on the shipping? I mean every record store I've tried to buy the album from, both online and "irl", they all say Universal messed up the shipping. Is Universal taking the blame for the shipping if Em and Paul did it intentionally? And Em has many times talked about the record company having deadlines for him, and around MMLP2 he talked about how Don't Front didn't make it to the deluxe version because they didn't clear it in time for the deadline, so the song was left off the album. So if the record company has those deadlines for him, how can someone then mess with the shipping like that? Or is Universal trying to get rid of him, lol? Doubt that tho!

That is what is so crazy to me!!! I mean how can the label mess up the shipping of one of the most anticipated albums of the year?? This legit doesn't make sense to me. The rollout, the shipping. I wished some music magazine would do like an in-depth analysis of this just because I am legit curious as to what is up, there have to be some other things going on in the background that we are not privy to. I don't know if it true or not but I thought I heard rumors that the artist signed to Shady was going with Paul to Def Jam like that duo they just signed is is Westside and Gunn? I thought someone said they tweeted they were going with Paul to Def Jam so others just assumed Paul was taking Shady Records with him. Maybe if Dre has "retired" Em doesn't feel the need to stay up under Aftermath anymore?

Ok I just looked up Def Jam and they're also under Universal, lol! Feel a bit dumb now... hehe 😇 So it's not like he's moving SR from Universal to like Sony Music... so then it makes even less sense? Because whether Em is at Interscope/Aftermath/Shady or Def Jam, he' still under Universal. So then Universal still messed up the shipping, no matter if Em changes from Interscope to Def Jam or not? So no matter which label Em's at, Universal still benefits from his sales? Right? Or am I getting it all wrong?

I mean I thought Def Jam and Interscope belonged to different musical corporations or whatever, so that's why it makes even less sense if it's Universal's mess up... lol. I have no idea! Well at least I know which field I shouldn't apply for a job in, LMAO!!

I think Universal is a good label. I think it’s better than Sony and I like that they tend to discount the singles, albums etc. The main problem is that this album didn’t have a successful lead single. Walk in water flopped on the radio, but River (the second single) is now getting lots of airplay; so the demand will increase for Revival. If Pink debuted with 400,000 copies was in part because she used ticket bundles. I wonder why they didn’t do the same for Em? He plans to tour!! With a ticket bundle, the opening would have been higher.

OMG!! I literally just got an email from the online store, saying Revival is late. They don't know when it'll arrive... again! christ... I had to go back and reread the last email, and they are clearly writing "Dear customer Unfortunately we have to announce that, due to restrictions imposed by the record company, we can not deliver your order before Friday, December 15th. This sadly means that your delivery will be delayed for a few days."
A FEW DAYS!!!! It's been a week soon... And now "Dear customer We need to inform you that one or more of your ordered products have been delayed. Unfortunately, we can not provide a more accurate delivery date, but we will do our best to get your order as soon as possible."This makes even less sense... I don't think the second delay has anything to do with Universal this time, lol! I'm putting all my faith in the record stores now! They said the CD will be here thursday, or friday the latest!! They wouldn't dare take that back... Where am I supposed to travel to get this album?

Em's not going to leave Aftermath and Interscope. They are the ones who gave him a shot when no one else would. I think Em is a very loyal person to those that are loyal to him. No way he leave Dre. To omuch history and respect there for him to sever those ties.

I just checked Amazon....and they sent a message about another delay...but it is literally 40 minutes down the interstate from me! So I don't understand how a "transit" delay would stop something from getting to me from 40 minutes away! I should complain to Amazon and demand a digital copy to hold me over until my physical copy arrives! LOL

It's all over entertainment media that Em uses dating apps, he's gay, and goes to strip clubs to meet women. Am I the only one that thought he was kidding when he said that in the Vulture interview?

Of course he was joking, even his Press Rep confirmed he was (strange that he had to comment to beginn with). Right now the press is on a Eminem hate Train so of course they will take everything he says out of context.

You know I was scrolling through twitter last night and I wasn't sure if I was supposed to laugh or cry for all the hopeful gay people on twitter, hoping to find him on Grindr 😂😂 I mean did he have to say that? Lol 😂
