I've only had a single listen through. Some of it I like, some of it I don't. I think it's the beats that I'm having a problem with. And some of Em's flow. Em really needs to go back to working with Dre and the Bass Brothers. He needs to give Alex da Kid and Rick Rubin the heave-ho. I'm gonna listen to it again later today when I get a chance to really digest it. But this was my first impression.

I totally agree on my first listen through I gave it 6.5/10 I am just not a Rubin fan for Em. Rubin has an amazing body of work I love him but just not for Em. I love Em with Dre beats, they go so well together 😍 but I have listened to it a few more times and I do really love this album and would now easily give it 8.5/10 and that may go up! Some of the tracks are stella and this album should shut a lot of the doubters up..... well some of them anyway 😂 as I said before it’s a grower and each listen makes it even better. Which I’m so glad about as I was having nightmares that it would be a bit like his 2 singles, great but not a lot of replay value in them. So glad I was proved wrong 🤗

I'm lovin' it. Way more than MMLP2. It's heartfelt and mature in a lot of ways. Hope the CD sells like hotcakes!

A couple of your posts Admin are blank. Maybe because I'm out of the US? But, when I quoted you they appeared. Weird, weird, weird!

Just listened to the whole album on the road last night!
Just with One listening, I love it more than MMLP2 !! Didn't feel like skipping tracks, except Remind Me, guess it's Rubin, but the other rock songs are more enjoyable to me than on MMLP2.
Someone as the link to see all the producers on each songs?? Some beats are fiire!!
I love all the personal stuff, not a kim/eminem shipper but wow that song! Castle is also exceptional and Arose! That Rewind Track is genius!! Geez I thought he was going to redo the whole song!!! And re-tell the whole story! My god, did anyone ever did that on a song before?
I see a lot of people calling the album masterpiece already! Couple negative reviews but no matter what Em would do at this point they would be some.
Edit: Also is it me or there's a lot of love/woman talk on the album! He is such a lover lol, in his own creepy way lmao but still.

I’m not unhappy with it- it’s better than I thought in some ways. I’m not crazy about it.
I like the tracks without the pop stars most and I can’t stand the tracks with the pretenders beat and cranberries and uhg! Rick Rubin - no, stop. I can barely stomach the tracks with the pop stars - I like River, though.
Overall, i like the content, I like his themes - most of lyrics are good - I’m not crazy about it but it’s not bad at all. What kills it for me is the it’s not cohesive - the ‘little something for everyone” doesn’t work - it feels like 3 different albums. Also, the several really crappy punchlines and metaphors- it detracts from the otherwise really amazing ones. It is painful to listen to some of the punchlines and metaphors he came up with at times - he can do way better.
I feel like he was rushed - I feel like he had too many people’s input on it and I lost him in some of it- and I wish people would tell him no to some of the punchlines he used- or that he would listen. It’s harder to take with some of the punchlInes he gave us.
I also need to give it a second and third listen. I was waaaay grumpy on my way to work 😂

You know, listening a second time:
1.) Believe still awesome
2.) Remind Me, utterly unnecessary
3.) Like Home -- one of his best. Both wordplay and delivery are epic, great song
4.) Bad Husband -- hmm. Ppl are loving it, and it's great song, but I don't know if it counts as an apology song. Yes, he apologizes for hitting her (which he kind of did already in WIG and LTWYL) but less about using her name in songs than leaving her for the divorce...idk. Just think it feels I guess, more for the audience than her? Obviously I don't know, but it feels to me like he knew bringing in her would make for great music (it always does) and he's definitely benefiting from it, ppl on Twitter are loving it. 5.) Tragic Endings -- another Skylar LTWYL type song
6.) Need Me--nice Pink song there. Wonder if it's related to anything real
7.) Heat -- way to agree with Trump on sexual assault just for a punchline on a throw away song we can pretty much assume is BS
8.) In My Head--phenomenal
9.) Castle -- new Stan and probably my favorite on the album
10.) Arose -- classic Eminem genius
11.) River -- love Eds part more than Em. We'll see if it succeeds as a single. Not sure how many women will take to it

Offended -- good flow, wordplay
Framed--there to shut Tyler the Creator up
Nowhere Fast -- ok

ok do y'all think they will release a "deluxe" edition with extra tracks? They did that with MMLP2 and those bonus tracks were some of my favorites from that album.

All of EMs songs are "storytelling." So, I say...Tell us something new and I think EM did...In his own way. Lovin' it! And, I actually love Sheeran's chorus on the "River" and I am far from a big fan of his dribble!

I listened to Revival today and I think it's great. It has a lot of songs that I really like. WoW, Believe, Chloroseptic, River, Like Home, Bad Husband, Framed, Castle, and Arose are standouts. I think in the long run Em will be vindicated about this album. Several songs could be hit singles if given a push especially River and Like Home. However, the album is 2 or 3 songs too long, 77 minutes is a bit ambitious. Maybe a different executive producer next time but other than that I'm happy.
