We theorized there might be a part two to this album. I'm so curious if he will announce retirement or reveal he has no plans to retire.

I highly doubt he is retiring. He is so active right now and seems to be having fun, it wouldn’t make sense at this point.

One of the things that doesn't make sense is what happens after GC2. Like, if Marshall is dead in both Temporary and Somebody Save Me, songs like Toby and Head Hancho (both which I really love) feel out of place with the album structure and the story it's telling.

I don't think anyone is romanticizing their relationship. . . I never believed their relationship was as volatile as his music has implied over the years (she has stated before that more than often he took/will take a small situation and deviated from conventional logic to produce a desired effect) - he's an artist and she has clearly always been his muse. . . I've always believed that she was very much aware of her "role" when it came to his image (a mutual understanding between the two of them) - prior to signing with a major record label his lyrics towards his ex were very loving ex. "Searchin'" In his most recent interview with Lil Wayne, he mentions that he continues to find inspiration in those he always has/his creative process has not changed in anyway other than now he has no option but to add a twist to everything as he's been in the game for over two decades (this explains a few songs like "River" "Normal" "Good Guy" "In too Deep" in juxtaposition to "LTWYL" " Stronger Than I Was" "Need Me" Die Alone" "Kill for You" ft Skyler Grey etc.) He could be writing love/hate songs as it's part of the image he has presented since day one, but these songs HEAVILY insinuate at what he once shared/shares with his ex! If he is in a committed relationship with someone else, it's just plain disrespectful and unreasonably obsessive towards his ex (yes I understand most of his songs as of lately have double/triple entendres but not every love/hate song written by him after 2009 is speaking to hip-hop/fame. . . How is it that in over 10 years he hasn't been seen with anyone else? It would almost seem so cold/unfair to air all your dirty laundry and publicly disrespect your two-time wife only to go out of your way to protect a potential new partner while living the high-life you built bashing your ex and family unless she is still in his life and there's a lot of guilt there + his appearance and her actions between 2013-2015 spoke volumes! p.s she did publicly insult his manhood/sexual abilities and I'm sure he's ego was bruised (typical when fighting privately/going through a break-up/a taste of his own medicine lol) - one of the many reasons I think he decided moving forward to keep things between the two them. . . Honestly his work post 2009 is a mind-fuck - I love a good mystery lol I agree with this a lot but i have to say, and i apologise if i'm being superficial or off topic. i believe their relationship wasn't as bad as he portrayed BUT it wasn't healthy either:the fact that both addmited to cheating, arguing and physically hitting each other is a red flag for me..i don't want to blame Kim or Em,i feel she wasn't a monster as he portrayed, but they weren't good together. There are persons who say she was horrible to him and vice versa. And i know he exaggerated a lot of stuff he said in his music (without including the all fiction songs) but the main stuff/situations he says are true, if that makes sense,at least in his older songs.Like he really was poor, moving a lot, being in toxic relationships, idk what else he said. The core is true with some exaggerated details. He really went through a lot, just like Kim. I also think it was more than just "take a small situation and derive it" in this case..otherwise he might've been really crazy to make songs about killing his wife or dissing his mom just for the sake of the music or just bc they argued a little. He must've had some real rage when he made those (think ab Just the 2 of us/97 Bonnie and Clyde who was written before he became famous for example. They really had problems between them prior the fame..and/or he would write a love song when they were at peace like Searchin'). I feel that in the beginning those love/hate songs were genuine somehow but now they might be just part of his image (more or less), since as you said, maybe he doesn't have smth to talj about..I do believe Kim was aware of her role too in his image, like you said, she's his muse but i feel like what he said in his songs over the years kinda portrays their dynamic ( from love to hate then back again, then to just "acceptance"). She's always going to be in his life, bc of the kids even tho they are adults, maybe less now. Just my thoughts. Can i ask what fo you mean with "his appearence and her actions from 2013/2015 spoke volumes?" They both mentioned being civil to each other and she said he's her "best friend and supportive". He is talking good about her (in songs like Going Through Changes, Bad Husband or in his book).. if i remember he also helped Kim with building her house and paying for another one that time..i think he really felt guilty for what he had done to her and wanted to be better (at least one of the reasons he did those and kept things between them, another one might be the taste of his own medicine as u said). Maybe him being sober helped him see the damage he had done to others and made him apologise. In the end i don't think they're together romantically anymore or again, maybe just as friends/parents.

Somehow i can understand both Nasaan and Em in this situation: yes, it would've been nice that they had a deeper/closer relationship but at the same time Em might keep his distance from Nasaan's family out of grief (bc of Proof's death) and doesn't own him anything. Altho i never thought Eminem was "close" with Cordae at all and i feel that it's kinda foolish of Nasaan to diss Cordae and blame Em for it.

Nasaan seems to be entitled and spoiled. He have got a big help from Em and Paul signing with Def Jam, Royce parading him around podcasts. In one interview he was asked ih he took inspiration from Em, Proof, Royce etc., and he answered he likes creative rappers, like young thug. Yeah, I don't like him.
