Apparently Vince Staples thought some of Ems lines were weak. (Can't totally disagree, beginning was shaky, but his parts about Bannon, immigrants, telling Trump supporter fans to fuck off was awesome)

I´m so so proud of Em!! He is amazing really....I just wish he use beats on his freestyles

I think he did the right thing leaving the beat to this one, it was just his words (and cute breathing ) and then he took it slow, paused, pronounced the words properly, which I personally think made it easier for me, who has learned english as a foreign language, to really pay attention to what he says, and actually also hearing what he says. If there had been a beat it would have taken a lot of my attention, and if he had rapped supersonic speed, I would've missed so mych! As much as I love Rap God and as impressed as I am with his rapping, 4 years later there are still things he says that I have no idea what he actualy says, lol! Even tho I've read the lyrics many times!
So even tho his flow isn't the best he can do, I thonk it tactically was a good move to just focus more on the message of the freestyle!
