44 is an ugly age. 43 looked so much better, Lol. I love it though that Em and I get to age together. I never have to feel too old to be his fan. Plus we were the same ages at all the same times in history, so that's cool. Our memories go back just as far. We grew up with the same TV shows, movies, music, clothing styles, and likely had some similar kinds of toys. It's funny too that his career really started to take off in 1999--the same year I finished graduate school and was starting out in mine. Let's hear it for them early 1970's babies!! (J/k... Just trying to make myself feel better about getting freaking old.  ) |

We've had a lot of members the same age or older than Em. A lot of them are gone from the board, but they're still out there! :t2 I wished they come back so I wouldn't feel so crazy 😂😂😂 seriously though one thing I love about this bored is everyone appears to be more mature if not older than other places Stan's gather that I visit , such as Watt pad or Instagram 😁 Yeah, I miss many of the "old" members (as in those who are not here anymore, lol) - both young and old! And it was so funny, when I joined Shadysgurls back in 2008, I was thinking like what am I doing, I'm 18 and this is probably a board full of 14 year olds being teenagers. Turned out the majority there were over 30 and they were surgeons and lawyers, and very far from typical teenagers 😂😂 after that I actually felt very young! I was like one of the youngest members. Lol 😂 Can't believe that was almost 10 years ago!! In 2012 when shadysgurls closed and I moved here I actually chose this board because I felt it was more mature and nicer, "softer" than other boards. I had been lurking here since 08 lol! |

i'm 20. but gotdamn stans make me feel like a grandpa. amazed how Em still manages to get young fans.. tbh I stanned him just in 2011. I actually discovered him because my favorite rapper back then got called an Eminem rip off lol. good old days  |
